Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya must be romantically involved in the fanwork.
All fanworks created for this exchange in every round must be of a strict Top/Seme Katsuki and Bottom/Uke Izuku dynamic. Whether there is penetrative sex or not, the work should assume a Seme Katsuki and Uke Izuku narrative, as this event's general theme is fully embracing the classic Seme/Uke BL trope within the KTDK pairing.
Seme (Katsuki): “The seme is typically the dominant partner, the one who initiates and actively pursues the relationship. They are often depicted as more assertive, sometimes even cold or blunt, and may be the one who makes the first move or takes the lead in the relationship.”
Uke (Izuku): “The uke is the submissive partner, often portrayed as more emotional, gentle, and responsive to the seme's advances. They may be the one who is pursued and who allows themselves to be taken.”
We encourage you to think stereotypical BL when approaching KTDK and avoiding Seme stereotypes for Izuku and Uke stereotypes for Katsuki. If you are not fond of these stereotypes and dislike them in KTDK, this event may not be for you. If you think you want to give this a try, definitely join us!
We kindly ask participants to refrain from creating bowl-centric fanworks, as this is a KTDK-centric event. Love interests involving Katsuki and Izuku outside of KTDK should not be entertained or pursued in work created for this event. No polyships with KTDK, please. However, fanworks centered around the general idea that a handful of people love/desire either Katsuki or Izuku are permitted, so long as, once again, these relationships are not entertained by KTDK.
Writing a past relationship involving Katsuki or Izuku is allowed so long as KTDK are endgame and the Top/Bottom Dynamics for the past relationship(s) are fixed, respectively.
Mentions of switching in your written pieces are strictly prohibited. No alluding to or implications of neither Katsuki, nor Izuku switching at any point during sex should be written or included in works for this exchange, including in previous relationships should there be any.
This event is anti-censorship and pro-fic. So long as you are avoiding your giftee's DNWs and the work is in theme with both the general event and specific round, we accept all kinds of content. Please tag your fanworks properly and add the proper warnings and ratings for the material in your fanwork for everyone’s safety!!
Each round of Orbit will have a specific theme to create around! We kindly ask that you try your best to incorporate the specific round’s theme into your work somehow. We’re lenient and non-strict on how you interpret the theme and prompts, so feel free to get creative!
For fic, the minimum word count for this exchange is roughly 1,500 words with the requirement of at least one full scene to be counted as a gift for your giftee! There is no maximum word count!!!
For art, the minimum requirement is a clean sketch or lined piece in accordance with your style!
All submitted fan creations must be completed, please! We unfortunately will not accept uncompleted multi-chapter works.

What is the theme of this event?
The general theme of Orbit is creating fanworks that include stereotypical Seme/Uke roles in KTDK alongside the dynamic! This is based on our love for classic BL and common tropes used for M/M relationships in this genre of manga. But this exchange will also include, with each new round, a unique theme to focus on creating around with the overall event's theme! We will provide prompts in association with the theme for more variety and a larger pool of options to create with! While we ask you try your best to incorporate the theme in your work, we are not strict about the interpretation of each round’s theme. And you are free to interpret the round’s theme and prompts however you’d like!

Are other ships allowed?
Side ships are allowed and encouraged so long as KTDK is the focus and they are not in your giftee’s DNWs! Ships involving Katsuki and Izuku that are not KTDK are prohibited unless they are past relationships with endgame KTDK. (Unless your giftee specifically requests no past relationships.) OT3s, OT4s, and polyships are prohibited.
Is DKBK Dynamic or switching allowed?
No. This is a fixed event, any implication of the reverse dynamic, including alluding to / implied switching or implied Top Izuku and Bottom Katsuki even in past relationships -- is strictly prohibited.
I was told this event was only for fixed KTDKs. Can I join even if I’m not fixed?
Yes! We encourage absolutely anyone interested in embodying Seme/Uke roles for KTDK to participate!
What kind of fanworks do you accept in this exchange?
This is a fanfiction and fanart exchange! Written works will be exchanged on AO3, and artists who prefer to not post on AO3, will be posting on Twitter!

They are suggestions, more than anything. You are not required to create anything you are not comfortable creating. If you’re finding it difficult to create for your giftee, please feel free to contact a mod so we can get it sorted out! Or, you can default at any time before the deadline for any reason, with no penalty. Communication is key for this exchange: if you ever need help with anything, please ask the mods! We are happy to help you out.
My gift contains one of my DNWs.
We will be trying our absolute best to go through every gift and make sure they’re within the event’s restrictions and avoiding the giftee’s DNWs. But, if you find this has happened, please contact a mod immediately so we can sort the matter out and have the DNW(s) removed.
